Like a retro bauble reimagined as a glossy lamp, this glowing fixture captures the original colors of Bakelite beads from the 1920s and '30s. A sculptural union of form and function, each lamp base shines with a single, vibrant orb, on top of which rests a handmade globe of opaline glass. Commonly used for its durability and sheen, Bakelite was popular in jewelry as durable plastic beads. The upper globe removes easily for access to the light bulb. Comes with a 25W Halogen G9 bulb. Handmade in Belgium, balance made in China.
